Hopefully that script includes us being the reigning premiers 😊.

Let's just write in back-to-back as well. 😃

Ludwig here on RWO we need proof that you aren't really John Longmire.

The injury list published today on afl.com.au - The full AFL injury list: pre-season update - AFL.com.au - makes for depressing reading.

None of Franklin, Menzel, and Smith are especially likely to start round 1 and Naismith surely won't (just when tap ruckmen are coming back into vogue). Worse, Ling is still injured "indefinitely".

Yes not a great start to the season to be down so many players at the start of the season. It does create opportunities for others to step up to but when its several of your main forwards then it's a concern for sure!

I'd hope his time spent playing and trading to play on key forwards, doesn't effect his ability to play on mids/smells - it seemed to effect Leo Barry's ability in that regard.

I think he might be better down back, more likely to stay involved than on "starvation corner" up forward.

Redback cocktail party function is tonight.
My sponsor child for the year is Nick Blakey. Poor kid... what an induction to the club!!!
Hopefully I'll be able to put up some shots tomorrow (although I may need assistance).
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

It didn't happen to have the tag #TBT associated with it, did it?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I actually don't think that injury list is a disaster.

Buddy - not ideal but we play OK when he's not there as we spread our goal kickers more
Menzel - just get him right
Smith - I don't think he's a key player for us anymore and think he's replaceable anyway
Naismith - get a few games into Cameron
Ling - hasn't even debuted anyway (why did we extend his contract already? This has Daniel O'Keefe vibe!)
