O'Riordan was probably our best that quarter. Certainly showed his pace and determination. As did Wicks, with a lovely effort to gather deep in the pocket, then to accelerate into enough space to snap true from a sharp angle. McInerny continued to show his class, as did Stoddart and Bell when they got it. Academy kids as per usual, showed their endeavour. A couple of times, I think the ball moved the length of the field, with the only involvement being toppies. The only involvement I saw from Ling, was doing a couple of warm up routines. Hopefully, he will play all of the second half.
Good sign to see Hayward acting as a runner.
Really promising player, Stoddart. Good mark and kick, brave, and fast obviously. I like that they are grooming him for that rebounding defender role, which will suit him.
Must admit I had to look at the club website to find out why we're wearing black armbands.
The reason's here for others like me who missed it.
Beloved Swans fan passes away - sydneyswans.com.au
Very fitting that the article features a picture of Alan with Darcy Cameron.
And great to see our NEAFL boys do Alan proud!
Go Bloods!!
Good win by the Swans - should have been a lot more though - inaccurate kicking.
O'Riordan outstanding. Fox - very very good. Stoddart hardly ever gets beaten one on one and has great pace and very good disposal. Wicks with a couple of goals - one very clever indeed.
Impressive win. Good to see some pressure on the Seniors.
Can someone please tell me why O'Riordan is not playing in the seniors and has only just been made an emergency this week after not even getting a look in the past month?
Is it because we already have enough players with good pace and skills in the senior team??? Surely that must be the reason...

Wicks layed a game high 11 tackles. That's what we need in our AFL team desperately!
