Also interesting that it comes at a time when there's an article on the AFL website that he is likely to request a trade at the end of the season: https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-06-...-trade-options

I wonder why he's in demand from other clubs, but apparently not in demand by the Swans?

Well, if you had to choose a quarter of football, to showcase our game to a newcomer, nobody would choose that one. For most of it, we were missing targets and Canberra were missing the goals. I kept on checking the trees, to see if there was a swirling and gusting gale force wind, but no, it seemed pretty calm.
However, Rowbottom kicked a couple late to extend our lead. He was also probably best on ground. Of the senior players, I think that only Fox is making any real case for promotion. Thurlow has had plenty of it, but has been a bit wasteful. Stoddart, as usual, is taking the game on, but turning it over, more than usual.

A bit better in that quarter, without reaching any great heights. Rowbottom and Fox consolidating their status as our best performers. The highlight of that quarter, was a lovely bit of ruck roving in the forward pocket by Rowbottom, with a snap across his body for a goal.

There is no way Knoll is better than Cameron. What is it about the Swans that they recruit and develop ruckmen and then ship them off (Nankervis, Mumford, Cameron??). It’s like we’re a ruck academy/nursery

Quite a scrappy win. Rowbottom and Fox our best. Thurlow had a pretty good quarter. Jack and Ronke busy, without really making a case for promotion.

Maybe a trade has been already decided for next season with Naismith still projected as ideal ruck choice, in which case Knoll becomes number 3. Sinclair indispensable.

A bit silly to put their eggs in the Naismith basket, I’d be suprised if we ever see him at AFL level again given his durability
