No Ling or Reynolds on any list
Sort of like being delisted. I'd say they've been Unlisted.
Even suspended players usually make the injury list, even though they're really not injured, but just to show they're unavailable.
I would like see the status of everyone on the list, and put some kind of description next to their names. like disappeared, missing, abducted, kidnapped, vanished, personal reasons which cannot be mentioned, incarcerated. Whatever. Just say something.
Spontaneously combusted, he who shall not be mentioned etc.
We know Ling has another foot injury. Simon Dalrymple on the Road To The Draft said Reynolds had hurt his back.
Ryan Clarke will be sitting this one out. And despite naming three emergencies on Thursday none of them are coming in for him. Instead his replacement will be Marc Sheather.
Injured or disciplined?
Final teams are in.
Ryan Clarke is withdrawn and replaced by Marc Sheather
Michael Rischitelli and Brayden Crossley are out and replaced by Andrew Swallow and Michael Selsby
First bounce at 11:30am
Bell slammed head first into the ground and I'd dare say will be out for the match with concussion.
Also had the free paid against him.
That was about the 4th attempted slam tackle I had seen up to that point. Incredible unawareness by the umps.

We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
Swans 2.3 (15) Suns 0.2 (2)
Goals: Fox Hirst
Apart from the Bell injury, that was a pretty good quarter. The Suns hardly looked like scoring and we probably should be further in front. Fox was having his way in the midfield and snapped a nice goal from a forward pocket ruck contest. Though strangely, Menzel has been doing some forward half rucking. Hirst kicked our other, from a bit of front and centre roving, after a sweeping move, largely instigated by Stoddart. In these games, I find myself increasingly hoping that Stoddart gets the ball, as he usually makes something happen.
