The stats are dodgy anyway you look at them. Take hitouts, Individual hitouts tally as Sydney 85, SDU 49 yet team stats are 52 - 65. Does not make sense.

Quickly doing some of the maths; marks and hitouts have been swapped in the team stats.

Who is the lad playing in defence with heavily taped shoulders, very mature physique, dark hair , wearing a number ending in 3? He looks a very handy midfeild type.

Kyle McKellar. He's definitely improved this year and has become a consistent performer in the NEAFL.

    Isaac Cumming - GWSGIANTS.com.au

Isaac Cumming was the player we bid on in 2016 prior to taking Will Hayward

We forced gws to take Isaac

Has anyone seen him play in neafl ?

Potential for snr footy in the afl ?

Good question! I have thought of him but not recently. Unfortunately I haven't seen him play and can't answer. I think GWS will be reluctant to let him go: not chewing up much salary cap, sounds like he is developing well enough and he is one of their academy products with no go home factor. From Isaac's point of view I think it will be hard to tempt him without promising first crack at COR's spot. Will also have to compete with Cunningham, McInerney and Ling. Let alone if we draft Young or Ash. Probably will have more opportunity at the Giants.

I have seen a fair bit of Cummings. He has an excellent physique but doesn't seem to impose himself of the game enough. He is a bit similar to Jammes Bell in that regard. With another pre-season he might grow in confidence.

Just watched a highlights package of Paul Kelly, what a player!

Was there a post earlier here that stated that his son is playing for GWS? Please say it's not😬😬😬

He's playing for the Wagga Tigers, called up by GWS as a topup once. Also has played for us as a topup a few times

Sounds like a potential father - son?

Has anyone else seen the interview between Jeremy Laidler and McInerney on the Swans website re last Saturday's game? Justin comes across as a very articulate and amusing young man. In his opinion it was the work of Naismith in the ruck and ''big Doss (it sounded like that) McLean,' up forward that turned the game in the last quarter! He mentioned Thorne, Gulden and Wicks as the academy players who have impressed him over recent weeks. He sounds like one who really enjoys his footy life!
