Good to see Darcy Cameron's name. No Naismith though.

The three emergencies from last night Brewer, Campbell, and Ellem all announced as playing so I imagine it's as simple as Jack, Clarke, and McLean going 'out' for them
Final teams are in
Clarke, Jack and Melican and out replaced by Brewer, Campbell and Ellem
Hayden McLean is playing meaning we will have 4 ruckmen today - Cameron, Amartey, Knoll and McLean
First bounce at noon
Hmmm, most of that quarter was spent in Gold Coast's attacking half, so it's a bit lucky that they were inaccurate, otherwise we'd be further behind. Hopefully we were kicking into a strong wind? If not, it could be a long day. Amartey continuing his good form. Stoddart, Rose and Thurlow have had a fair few possessions, but haven't really used it well.
This is far from encouraging!

We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
Half time Swans 6.3 (39) Suns 9.10 (64)
Foot, Rose, and Wicks probably our best.
Ruck situation is mucho complicated - Amartey, McLean and Cameron in the first quarter, then mainly Knoll and Cameron in the second quarter.
An uninspiring effort so far. The 39-64 deficit is an accurate reflection of the game. I don't know what the clearance numbers are, but I suspect that we're getting soundly beaten. The Suns are also using it more effectively. Our tackling has been pretty good though, and we probably should have been rewarded with a few more holding the ball decisions. Once again, Wicks is leading our tackle count.
Of the others, Rose has been our best. Amartey was probably our best in the first quarter, but he moved to defence in the second and was less prominent. Foot and McInerney have been using it well. Thurlow hasn't: so I doubt if we'll see him next season. I also doubt if Cameron will be promoted for the Saints game. Hasn't been very effective in the ruck and has given away silly frees.
Hopefully we will improve in the third, otherwise the Lions v Cats will be increasingly tempting.
Amartey now playing key back on the tall and frankly I can't understand why he isn't in their senior team Peter Wright.
Haven’t seen Stoddart at all this quarter, must be injured.
Swans 7.5 (47)
Suns 12.14 (86)
Three quarter time
Foot has 3 goals.
