I am lucky enough to sit next to Primmy at home games.
She is a very deserved fan to be featured like this. And a top person
I like the idea of recording Swans games and only keeping the victories. Makes for stress-free viewings!
Great stuff Primmy!
Primmy encouraged mrs d and self to go to our first Championship Dinner. We are forever grateful!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Awesome story, Primmy...you’re probably not going to believe this but Swans v Brisbane in 1996 at SCG was my first ever game of AFL! From memory we won by 45. I don’t record and re-watch all the games (I would if I didn’t have a wife and kids!) but nowadays I only watch the wins. My stress and temper has gotten a bit much since getting big ole tumor in my pre frontal cortex...so now I just check the result (blocking bits of the phone screen with my strategically placed hand so as not to see the actual score) and then just enjoy watching the game with no stress and no broken things 😁
Onya Primmy.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
Well that's my fifteen minutes of fame done and dusted. Thanks for kind words one and all
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
Great yarn. Love ya work Primmy.
Pretty sure I was standing on my seat as well at that famous 1996 game (as Plugger moved in to kick after the siren - pandemonium ensued).
I'm liking these stories about the moment fans moved from "them to us" in terms of their support. Particularly for our Sydney fans who in general don't have the support passed on to them via family heritage.
For fans and members from Sydney there is generally a moment when they went from a passing interest to genuine fan, and I really like hearing when, what, where, how or who that moment was.
Great story Primmy.
