    Buddy, Buddy, Buddy......

We're 6 behinds in front. It has to be said, as much as we got excited having Plugger as kicking coach and add to that, Nick Davis.....we would have to be one of the worst kicking for goal teams in the league.

That was a flat out push in the back against a Heeney. Resulted in an injury to rub salt in the wound.

Heeney was ridden into the ground because Ronke dropped a sitter. Our basic skills are sorely lacking.

Starting to find it a bit bizarre, how Buddy never looks like missing from the left side of the ground, but never looks likely from the right?

Umpire 10 metres away and couldn't see it - blatant yet not even a mention from the commentary team was there?

Summed up the match so far in two lines. They can't miss, we can't kick goals for the life of us.

Our general play has been better, but so frustrating to be so close at half time.

Strange when you consider also him being a left footer. Hasn't even got close with his couple so far from the right hand side.

I do wonder how much goal kicking practice we do though - we miss an awful lot of very gettable goals.

Worried its going to be one of those nights where our opponents can't miss for the life of them, and despite getting outplayed, end up winning.

Blakey may have a run in the NEAFL next week - no impact at all the 1/4

Looking like a mistake to bring in McInerney instead of O'Riordan. Mc hasn't looked close to the level and we're missing a medium defender badly. Blakey just doesn't do enough. Ronke is more active, but not kicking well.

We should be winning by a bundle, but it doesn't seem like it's about winning this year, but more about getting the game plan working better. There's been some very good signs with the way we are moving the ball through the midfield. Win or lose, the 1st half has been a positive.

Melbourne have been poor, except for some great snap shots for goals.

They kicked those goals from the pocket because we went all up at the marking contests. If Lloyd was able to hit a player on the chest he would be a superstar.

We have turned around our early rounds lack of inside 50's but as usual, offensive efficiency is letting us down. We are winning the inside 50's 35 - 22.....we should be 12-6 78 !!

I seem to say it every week but tonight we definitely haven't made the most of our opportunities. So many missed shots including multiple out on the full.

What a game by Ollie...He seems to be everywhere.

Is Papley being tagged because he has been quiet?

I'm worried about the defence. Each week teams seem to be scoring so easily when the ball hits the ground.

Channel 7 scared me when they kept showing the Parker incident with his knee. He looks to be ok. Hope Heeney's hip is ok. It was his own fault though because he should have given it to Parker in the first place.
