Can't see that happening. If Rhyce starts really building something at Norf as the season continues, Horse would see the writing on the wall. As much as he may be loved as a past North champ, he wouldn't want to become the Roos Terry Wallace.....and anyway, I think he's building something more exciting here at the Swans.....

Having said that and it turns out North have done a 'Ross Lyon/Freo' type move (which I doubt....Horse has too much class for that) and he goes south, I would love Rhyce to be back at the Swans. Tonight confirmed what we've all suspected. He'll be a good coach.

Handy late goal by Walters, to snatch victory for Fremantle. Let's hope that it's not today's only upset.

I watched the last quarter, was gutted at how Dees squandered the opportunity to shut up Crows supporters for the week and failed to push us up to pick 3 in the draft.

A good friend is an avid Dees member, has become a mess with how it's gone so wrong after last years "green shoots". She assures me they're not tanking!

I, too, have a very soft spot for the Dees as a lot of good friends of mine have been long suffering supporters of them but, sheesh, did they butcher an opportunity last night!! They were clearly the better team for 3 quarters and had numerous opportunities to put the Crows away in the last quarter but botched them. Badly!

Mustard on turd, poos and wees. Great names for a club that's on the nose.

My Demon friends refer to Hawthorn as the Dirty Nappies.

Yes, there's probably a reason, why very few sporting teams deck themselves in brown.

Incisive comment from BT during the Essendon/Carlton game.
The game started in relatively dry conditions but steady rain began early in the second quarter.
BT noted that the team that adapts quickest and best to the new conditons generally goes on to win the game.
That's why he's in the commentary box and we're not!

Had to laugh at the AFL's idea of 'sold out' in regards to the Shanghai game!

Almost spat my tea out when the commentators tried to suggest lots of the empty seats were due to 'restricted view'....
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
