#AFL Round 12 weekly discussion thread

Let's kick this off by asking....how useless were the Lions today? Carlton has just beaten them! Bloody hell....

Good win to the Cats last night, they were very good and Richmond had a shocker.

    Oh yeah, there's this: https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-06-...r-in-two-weeks

Of course, a 'bunker' will solve everything. WTF? It doesn't matter where the goal reviews take place, if you don't employ more technology and use all the angles you have available to you, mistakes will continue to be made....spend some of your mountains of money AFL and get serious about getting this right!

I'll finish by saying "I hate the bye rounds!"

    Go Swans!

Watched some of it but found myself getting angry when I heard McGuire's voice. Know I shouldn't let it get to me but all his conflicts of interests etc annoy the hell out of me. Should have muted the sound but was with someone who wanted to hear the commentary.

    Another interesting historic Swans story.....

Slaughter: the true story behind a record that's stood for a century - AFL.com.au

Swans go mad in the last quarter against St Kilda a century ago.....and the scoring record still stands today.

Carlton only one win behind the Swans and North demolishing Suns (early days I admit).

I could see Swans staying around the bottom 4-5.

I thought Blues played well rather than vice versa.

Carlton got Bulldogs next week. That’s definitely in the “winnable” category

As long as 26 of them were against Toby Greene it was probably fair enough.

Must say I got Carlton's immediate future wrong yesterday, let's see if it's a "dead cat bounce" and whether they can win a few more.

Brisbane up by 6 goals and folded, against Carlton! - woeful

Crows got the rub of the Greene last night, will have to put up with gloating Crows supporters all week now :-(

Must say this is one interesting season, the only constant is Geelong.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
