Haha! Buckley is looking very unimpressed!
Damn, good to see Pies lose but it was such a thumping that North have now jumped us on percentage. Collingwood 5 goals 7 points in four quarters!!
But we’ve jumped Hawthorn which is lovely
Only saw the last quarter and a bit, but it looked like North reduced Collingwood to a gibbering wreck. Their pressure and tackling was impressive.
And the Bravedogs (spew) have beaten Port in Adelaide, what an amazing round. Of course theVFL have stuffed up as usual!
Like GWS or not, they were crucified Friday night. 29-14 free kick count against them and a lot of the Bombers frees were paid when and where it counted. Then, of course, there was the touched goal they got. Wonder how the Bomber fans who complained about Dane Rampe when we beat them feel about the armchair ride they got on Friday.
When it comes to exposing the pro-vic rort of umpiring, it is a case of United we stand, divided we fall
Take a look at the historical free kicks for/against on AFL.com.au match day for Vic side hosting non Vic side. Very rarely does the free kick favour suit the non Vic.
Lions v Demons has been a real harem scarem game, so far. Though for people who get too upset by turnovers, it's probably not the game for them. Both teams playing at a very fast pace, but missing plenty of targets, mainly going into the forward fifty. Then the other team runs and guns: etc.
Though Brisbane finally got a handy lead, after a four goal third quarter by Hipwood.

I'm not sure if Giants supporters would consider that a valid argument.
It's been Turnover City. Brisbane's turned it over lots of times but the Dees have been diabolical! A shadow of the team they were last year.
Long suffering Melbourne suppporters continue to feel the pain.
Yes, I think the Demons now can be officially written off for the year. Though I haven't seen them enough, to have any real idea of what went wrong.
On the other hand, I've been enjoying the Lions. After years of having many of their best players poached, it's good to see them contending again. They're good to watch, as well. They go in hard and they have plenty of flair up forward; with Cameron, Hipwood and Zorko. Andrews down back should be All-Australian. I even quite like Mitch Robinson.
