Jack setting the standard with his hard running off the ball.

And a distinctively poor chase from Ronke enabled them to waltz forward from their defence to score.

We look like we have been on the piss all week. Fumbling constantly, dropping marks.

They did this drill where they spun around until they almost couldn't stand then tried to kick a goal. Looks like Reid still hasn't recovered............

Bloody hell that quarter doesn't inspire confidence. One of our worst for the year. Missing bloody easy set shots doesn't help.

Parker and Dawson looking OK. I think it is bull@@@@ that the potential for report is based on the result. The INTENT is surely the most important thing. Dawson will probably get 2 weeks as I no longer understand the rules we operate under.

His work rate this year Ronke is way down.

Tight tough footy, but we are getting beaten so far at the fall of the ball. Wind making it tough to judge marks it seems.

Reid is actually a pretty handy ruckman. It's like hes auditioning to become the next Tippett - threatening ruck / forward but built of straw

Hewett and Parker are working well together. Apart from the first Casboult mark, Melican is reading well in difficult conditions. Mills has been good, Heeney busy, Dawson has kicked beautifully again.

Ronke's confidence is low and it's affecting his touches and work rate.

I suppose that 2 - 5 to 2 - 5 is a fair reflection of the quarter. Even but uninspiring. Good that we sorted out the clearances.

I reckon Kieren Jack might play a big role today - just a funny feeling not based on his year so far.

Just like last week we are dropping marks and fumbling the ball. We can't stick our tackles either. Did I hear right that we only had 3 tackles in the last quarter last week?

Is the wind making conditions tricky? It's hard to tell on the tv.

Speaking of the tv, the camera work is terrible. The vision shown is too far away and you can't see who has the ball.

I think Dawson might be in trouble for that bump 😞.

In the first quarter Carlton kicked to Melicans opponent all the time. His indecisiveness with the footy in hand is over the top and couldnt hit the broadside of a barn with a hand full of wheat from a foot away. Huge weakness in our backline.

That contest in the goalsquare was terrible - way too easy with about 20 players there.
