Sad to see Jack promoted instead of Stoddart who has the pace, skill and is one for our future. He can also play on half back, wing or half forward and he is tall and pacy. Hope he gets another go soon. Jack has much experience but is now one trick player unfortunately.

Once again only 1 player who has been recruited from another AFL list - Josh Kennedy.

An absolute champion recruitment performance to have a competitive team solely through the draft.

Sinclair and Franklin are clearly in best 22 and Thurlow and Clarke have both played games this year; but otherwise substantially high draft picks and rookies.

    Brilliant

I think you mean LOW draft picks, as in low in the draft not low in number. High draft picks are 1-10, but we understand what you meant, a team populated by late picks and rookies.

    How's the weather there?

The starting bench is Rowbottom Jack Ronke O’Riordan which is the same starting bench as the last two weeks but with Jack in place of Rose. This suggests that Jack will take Rose’s role today.

Which is: Kick 1 goal, but otherwise do nothing.

Fine, mild, strongish breeze blowing from west over the Members and Ladies Pavillions.

You would expect your senior players to stand up today. Reid, what a lazy footballer. 2 weeks in a row we miss from the top of the square.
