If you haven't caught up on the news in the NEAFL thread, originally Jack and Rose were sitting out that game, but a late change saw Rose back into the NEAFL team and now Ronke is the one sitting out with Jack. Smells of a likely late change in the seniors.

Our faint finals hopes rest on the result of this game.

Yep. Florent stranded on 49 games.

'Final teams #AFLSwansCats: Oliver Florent replaced by Ben Ronke for Sydney.
    Geelong are unchanged.'

Don’t understand the selectors’ love for Ronke.

Sydney Swans on Twitter: "Late change for today Ollie Florent out (hip flexor) and Ben Ronke comes in.".

I wonder if Ollie has been carrying this. It might partly explain his downturn in form.

All I can say is Ronke better use this opportunity. Even if he doesn't win the ball much he must apply pressure when they have it - hard quick chasing etc.

If he is to target someone I hope it’s Tom Stewart who generates much of their rebound out of defensive fifty.

Looking at the final changes from last week’s team
    In: Dawson Ronke
    Out: Florent Hayward

It looks like a straight swap. Dawson for Florent on the wing and Ronke for Hayward up forward

Nice day for it. Just a light breeze across the ground at the moment.

Let’s hope for a pleasant surprise today.

I would have preferred Rose to Ronke. Would have also had Knoll ahead of McCartin. Knoll looked OK today but Brisbane were ruckless and one but I don't think you can blame Knoll for that. Boys did well to get as close as they did to far more experienced Lions team.

The Ronke who burst onto the scene last year - yes.
Version 2019 Ronke - definitely not!

I suggested Ollie could do with a break earlier in the week! Not sure about Ronke as the in though.
