Stop trying to start an argument. You're not going to get one.
Um, I was agreeing with you. Sorry.

Sorry. I thought you were subtly saying that I was still trying to justify my foolishness!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

So which year does Longmire finish up? 2023? Have we worked out who follows him? I've always liked Kirky, from
his early days swanning around the club in the "Treehugger" T-Shirt he bought at The Wilderness Society shop, but
I'm not sure his current look resembling a greying Surry Hills digital media "exec" with $1,200 glasses and a Tesla
is quite right for the club, so I think it's going to have to be Jarrad.

He finishes at the end of 2023 and it is patently obvious that McVeigh is being groomed as his successor.

Not a fait accompli I reckon. Brett Kirk arguably has had at least as big an impact on the culture of the club.

    Yes.

But does Kirk have as smart a footy brain as McVeigh? (And that is a question not a statement.)

My worry is that Kirky seemed to contribute nothing at the Dockers and every area where he's been the line coach with us seems to be the one that lacks organisation.

Maybe TBC but have heard Lachie Neale talk about him in glowing terms.

Hard to tell. Pretty sure he is no slouch.
