Balmain Tigers Looking for Head Coach in 2020

    Hi All,

Long time lurker first time poster (in a long time anyway)

Hope it's ok to post this here, couldn't find a particular thread and thought this a good place to get the word around.

The Balmain Tigers are looking for a platinum division coach in 2020 if you are or know of someone who would be in this opportunity please take a look!

No probs Adnar, happy for you to run this on here. Good luck with finding your new coach - no doubt a challenge but one that hopefully someone good is willing to take on.

Any chance of a move back to Drummoyne, or even Birchgrove?

    Cheers all -

For some broader context, having been around for previous life (thankfully missed the death) and how the life again the club is definitely on the up in the past couple of years in ways it may not look like from ladder position.

    Some updates:

    - we played 3 Games at Birchgrove this season passed with hope that that will increase as the Soccer grounds in the area are upgraded. Birchy is definitely where we see our home in the future.
    - Re Drummoyne I believe the challenge there is that as they're not our local council there is less goodwill to accommodate us (hiring costs an issue too when you consider the financial size of club compared to when we last played there)
    - Achieved Financial and sponsorship stability in past couple of years
    - Some great players going around (2 players equal second in league medal)
    - Re-connection and goodwill with some local junior clubs (though that is a long term project!)
    - The first grade team were competitive all year (leading or within 2 goals in the last quarter of almost every game, how frustrating!)
    - Just a really solid, tight-knit playing group through both grades.
    - The masters team are strong and there is ambition to add a ladies team sooner rather than later,.
