Anybody heard anything from up Lismore way?
Apparently some guys in Casino were trying to start a club and join, Brunswick Heads wanted to form a club but Byron told them they were cutting their lunch, Byron then seemed to be having trouble getting a full team,
any news/confirmation of rumours?

Summerland league folded at end of 2011 and 3 of the 4 teams remaining (Ballina, Byron Bay and Tweed Coast) now play in QFA Div 2 Sth with Gold coast clubs
Lismore and Casino are playing in the AFL North Coast competition

Whatever happened to Phil Doyle? He disappeared off the football radar completely.
I replied to it as am living up that way and heavily involved in the Ballina Bombers so was just giving an update on the state of footy up here.
Political adviser I think, last I saw. Was in constant contact with him when the Mountain Lions were playing between Sydney and Central West - I think we were the last team to play them before they folded.
