Shame re COR. Last year, I thought he was going to kick on but they are clearly seeing something they don’t like and he does seem to have lost the run and dare.

    No. 2021.

I wouldn't read too much into him being omitted. It's just a matter of taking someone out of defence to make room for Aliir.

These last few weeks of the season, there are likely to be changes that are motivated by factors other than putting the absolute best team on the field.

Ok. Sure. They don't seem to have a whole heap of faith in him.

Agree. Thurlow still in but reckon he might not be at club next year although not sure of his contract status.

If we're going to play Dawson in defence, it simply falls to dropping either COR or Fox. I think it's the right move to keep Fox in the side at this stage.

Despite having so many injuries, it's still hard to win a spot in the side. There are a lot of decent young players that are worth getting games in to. Still no Gould or Amartey, so we still have players waiting to get a look in.

I'm not putting too much weight on selection or week to week performances this year when evaluating the long term prospects of particular players. Even Gray and Taylor could be handy pickups when next year rolls in. It will be a fresh start when training resumes for 2021. It's not a normal season this year and the usual criteria for measuring performance should be moderated. It's particularly hard for the fans, being so far from the action and cut off from much of the typical flow of information about how players are going who are not in the senior side.
