At 189cm Mills would be considered a key position defender, using the Swans scale (of recent years )

    Rampe: 187cm
    Fox: 186cm
    Leapin' Leo: 184cm
    Craig Bolton: 189cm

Cunningham (181cm) is the closest physical match for Smooch (183cm) although his pace, and kicking, would rule him out

    I love Fox!

Not the new Nick Smith though, that's Harry Cunningham.

Robbie Fox is an example of what should be a lesson for us all. That is, we shouldn't write off players too quickly. He's in his 4th year now, and many thought he would have been gone by now and called for his delisting. He might well have been close. Who knows?

I've had Clarke and Thurlow written off earlier this year, but now leaning toward keeping them both. Maybe in a couple of years Clarke will be the New Dan Hannebery.

Was solid again tonight. Our best defensive teams in the past 20 years have always had a couple of unsung heroes thrown in - Fox can play that role nicely. I actually feel relatively comfortable, if they do choose to make McCartin permanent down back (I love him going forward but he just looks so comfortable and composed defensively already - like he has played 250 games alread) that we have a decent group defensively coming together.

There are a fair few players that came in for a little while and or might not stick around as they play a short term role

    Laidler
    Colin?
    Thurlow?
    Fox?
    Melican
    AA
    etc

Im not sure of the trajectory re the above but all can do a job and or have
