From what I've heard from Barracuda in the past, I believe that he speaks to people inside the club. That's my opinion. It's based on reading the Scratch Match Thread. Have you read that?
Seeing and reporting on Scratch Match doesn't make Steve Johnson a toxic and unpopular coach.
Recall a YouTube video last year when what looked like the whole playing squad went to watch SJ play a game in the local comp. When he kicked a goal, all of them ran on and mobbed him. Unpopular and toxic?
Barracuda didn't call SJ "toxic" he said: "The players thought he was s$&t and wondered if he would actually start coaching at some point." I presume this was an actual opinion of real players. There may be other players with different opinions of Stevie J. Its possible some might even like him as a person, but think his coaching could improve.
