Rob had a name change. It used to be Rob Illness, but this caused him to go through a period of nominative indeterminism.

No, Matt Cameron was the physio. Rob Spurrs was our fitness and conditioning guy. Looks like we're replacing both of them. A real changing of the guard, particularly when you consider the departure of Dennis Carroll too.

Rob Inness has been the Rehabilitation and Conditioning Coach of Richmond since 2016 and has done well.He will head the Swans' high-performance team, replacing the outgoing Rob Spurrs. Hopefully at least Buddy can benefit from this!

In the zoom members Forum tonight, Horse mentioned that as the number of full time coaches will reduce from 9 to 5 with the reduced soft cap, they have to multi-tasks in 2021. Essentially, Ben Mathews will be the back-line coach, Cox will look after the mid field group and McVeigh will take charge of the forwards. Pyke will focus at opposition analysis and strategies. There will be some part-timers on specific tasks and the senior plays may have to help too. Kirk will be in charge of welfare and assisting in Development while Laidler will be with the Academy but also in charge of the Reserves Team. Besides Rob Inness from Richmond taking over the players athletic performance, the new head of physiotherapists will bring abundant experience and IP from the Cats.

At training last Wednesday, there ware 2 new starters as staff. One had a video camera, and the other a "press" camera. The latter had previously been a full-time staffer at Parramatta RL.

I hope they get onto improvements in media communications.

As of today, most players Bio's do not contain any height, weight etc information. Either there is a big Weigh In yet to come, or just carelessness in not bringing forward prior year information

Not sure that is correct. The new players’ info is not yet loaded but every player on our list from last year that I looked at (probably about 15 players) has their details there.

The other stats and descriptive info is not yet updated.

The Swans web site has a new Injury Update ( Injury Update - January 18, 2021) Instead of Charlie Gardiner, Damian Raper, the new Head of Physiotherapy & Medical Services is presenting the update. He was apparently first educated in Sydney but has worked for the Bombers and the Cats. Hope that he will be a good addition to our club.
