Yeah, I think you're right. There was a bit of grief from some Swans people towards them for it. I must have been at a bit of a loose end
back then as I went to a number of those games. Footy is always more relaxing when you don't care who wins. But it's not as
interesting. One game I caught a North T-shirt that was fired from some sort of cannon mounted to the back of a ute that drove around
the ground at half time. I gave it to a so-called mate who weirdly had jumped ship from supporting the Swans to supporting North at the
time. He still supports North but is a shadow of a man he once was.
