Typical Collingwood. Play GWS back into form just to spite us.

I've been watching Suns v Blues. Carlton by a point at 3/4 time. What a crap if close game.....turnover city with skill errors aplenty. Can't see us being troubled by either of these sides.
The PiesvGWS game was a much better spectacle than the SunsvBlues

Toby greene should now be permanent captain of GWS. He is about one of the only players who loves the club, and not someone who negotiated the captaincy as part of a new contract.

Watching Collingwood lose is always entertaining.

I wonder if he uses Cogs' statue to motivate the troops?

Even more so, when Bucks coaches so badly!

Perhaps there'll soon be a bring back Eddie petition. Started by E. McGuire of Toorak.

Out of last year's finals teams, I tipped Collingwood as the team most likely to miss this year. I have seen nothing so far that would challenge that assessment.

    Correct, they are very pedestrian.

Toby is their spiritual leader and a brilliant player, warts and all. Cogs is a decent enough chap and a good player but was probably created
by an algorithm from the same scientists that made Dangerfield, Pendlebury and Nick Reiwoldt.

What I've seen of Geelong, so far this season, hasn't impressed me. They've looked very uninspired moving the ball. 3.3 at half time against Melbourne, and I thought they were lucky to get that.

I agree. I don't think they have the cattle to adapt to the new rules. I think there might be more than one team we didn't expect make the top 8 come September.

It's hard to say what's up with them. It could be the slow start that teams who go deep into the finals often have; since they're still bashing away, while other teams are already recovering from the season. But on the other hand, many teams seem keen to move the ball quicker, to take advantage of the new rules. Geelong don't seem to be interested in doing that. Maybe they think a slower style suits their players better? Maybe it shows a lack of imagination? Who knows? Perhaps somebody should ask Chris Scott at his press conference?
