Changes for round 15 v Port Adelaide

I think the less said about #Hawthorngate the better.

Onwards and upwards. I’m really hoping that was a one off.

I’ve been swayed by Baracuda’s defence of Wicks, although the MRO may have different ideas.

    OUT: Hewett, Fox, Bell, MacDonald
IN: COR, Brand/Melican/Gould, Le Chad, Gulden

Up against AA for the first time

No way Hewitt goes out. Hard as nails and was far from our worst.

Hewitt at his best as a ball winner
    Wicks out Kennedy/Parker more fwd.

Put Ling in, was a 14 Pick lets see what he has, give Harry a spell.

Fox need a good couple of weeks in the ressies.

Leave Dylan in for a month

    Outs:
    Papley
    Fox
    Bell

    Ins

    Melican
    Chad
    Stephens

Papley needs to be held accountable for giving away free kicks due to umpire abuse. He has done it more than once this season. It’s not team 1st play. Have a spell as medical sub.

Melican is a taller stronger option that Fox.

Chad back breaking lines. Stephens into midfield. Parker and Florent to spend time as small forwards.

Wicks has been suspended for one match (as he deserves). So unless we appeal (unlikely I think) he has to be replaced.

Snowballs chance in hell they are dropping Paps for breaking the Bangalore Swans code.

If the Pelican is fit he comes back but he may well not be.

    Le Chad obvs

    Gulden over Stephens for mine.

Drop the second place leading goal scorer at the club, only just behind Franklin? Don't think so mate.

Chamberlain need a to be held accountable for his narcissism and egomania and is the one who needs a spell.

    Out Wicks, Fox, Bell, Hewitt
    In Gulden, Stephens, Blakey, Warner.

We haven’t played well since the Melbourne game and are lucky to have scrounged 3 wins in that time. Let’s just put our faith in the highly rated kids and develop as a team.

Unless cruelled by injuries, we should stamp the papers of “VFL champs” like Fox, Bell, Gray, Clarke etc “never to play seniors regardless of form at lower levels.”

Why is everyone down on Bell? I thought he offered more than, say, Ollie. Florent needs to make better decisions and get more of the ball.

Bell’s pressure & tackling was better and would have kicked a crucial goal if the umpiring had been fair.

Wicks is out in any case - but still had a better game than Ollie.

    Errol won’t be fit?

    We missed The Chad!!

Rowbottom to teach a few of them how to tackle (eg McInerney was a broken turnstile)
