The lack of progress, or rather decline, in the greater west is quite alarming.

With all the AFL millions pouredinto GWS the grass roots should be flourishing. There should be development officers flooding the schools, lots of scholarships and elite pathway programmes. One can only assume they have not bothered with this and have taken the arrogant "buiild and they will come" attitude.

As an old codger I can remmeber Campbelltown being an incredibly strong club. And they had good juniors too. It's a huge growth area and it beggars belief that the greater western region of Sydney cannot support one team.
