I suspect the old grouch, but hope not.

    Any support?
Plastics is OK. The others are pretty crap.

Stevo, I don't think royboy42 is engaging in any censorship - just giving feedback. I don't think royboy is suggesting that we are not free to use the epithets - only saying that, from his point of view, it is unnecessary and unwelcome. Those using these terms can reconsider their use and then either continue or desist in using them in light of the feedback, as is their prerogative. It's useful to let others know how their behaviour is landing. If they're giving offence and don't want to, they may not know if nobody tells them.

What RWO needs is a whole bunch of specialist modes (I am no tech expert so no idea what the proper term is) that one could turn on haha.

We could have a proper names only mode, that shows every club and player name automatically corrected to match AFL approved terminology.

We could have a grammar correction mode, for those who don't want their days ruined by the construction of a post.

We could have a 'tone down the Warners' love' mode - that tones down the Bangalore excitement machine and replaces posts with gentle standardised platitudes about future possibilities.

We could have an anti-umpire rant mode, that turns every umpiring related post into a thesis exploring the philosophy of umpiring, or a picture of a golden Razor Ray statue, take your pick.

I'm sure there are plenty of other options out there we could develop, including one that turns every one of my nonsense posts into a gif of Clinton Young falling over in the 2012 grand final.

You could even turn them all on at once, just for that customised, all in one experience.

Alas, it must truly be the off season

Well, it looks as if light hearted comments are out.

I reckon posters can call other teams what they like.....as long as they don't cross a line. All I am saying is, it's the moderators job to judge where that line lies, not other posters. It just comes across as unnecessary whinging and postulating.....and puts a downer on proceedings. Now, if we started calling each other names, that would be a definite negative that deserves 'calling out'. In this passionate world of footy fandom, giving opponents less than flattering names is almost a given.....so just let the passion flow (and the mod's will do the rest)!

Was it really light hearted or just a bit of a whinge? Or a light hearted whinge? I would say the posts that contain school yard names for opposing teams are actually the light hearted ones. Just sayin'.

I use this site. You can set your timezone, filter and download in several formats including ICAL. It seems to be accurate, apart from the Round 1 scores!

Which format should I use if I want to get it into my Outlook calendar? CSV, XLXS or JSON? I've never heard of any of these except I'm guessing XLXS might be for MS Excel?

I think ICAL should import into Outlook. May need to check that the downloaded file ends in ".ics".
