The Dogs seem to have no trouble getting free kicks

The Swans' kicking has been awful. It seems a turnover with nearly every kick of the ball. No teamwork. We need another VFL coach.

Ladhams would have to improve significantly before he gets a senior game.

He did get crunched in a contest but doesn't read the play well. Good skills for a big bloke when he does get it.

I liked Roberts in that quarter. Warner has had a pretty good game. Gould has had some effective spoils and looks to have added a few metres, to his already long kicks. Amartey has looked our most likely forward.

Yes, that quarter was pretty hard to watch. Maybe it's tricky conditions?

I singled Bell out for poor disposal before, but I'll take it back now. It's everyone.

Beautiful work from Gould: spoil, gather, straight through from 55 out.

We get all excited about new draftees and recruits but it's a bit of a reality check watching them play, even at VFL level. For example, compare Squizzy' and Fox's s disposal and ability to find the ball v Roberts, Warner, Sheathed, Rankin etc. They're streets ahead. Even AFL experienced Shipley looks more ready to make the jump. Liked Gould's work so far, Amartey looking good too. Ladhams just having a big dummy spit about having to play ressies - he can stay there. By all accounts, that was his attitude at Port too.

    They just turned them on.

Best game I've seen Gould play
