How is Longmire responsible for all of the injuries to the key personel. If he had the full list playing and was still getting these current results then I would agree your assessment of Longmire.
its his or th selectors who pick the team why would u not pick mcandrew and hickey with freos ruck combination. gives the mc a test with hickey to help.

Has Don Pyke taken a back seat?
I do think Longmire is a great coach in that he loves his players and gets the most out of them in terms of effort each week. But he's no tactician. We looked best when Don Pyke first came in and helped switch up our style to be very attacking and actually make tactical changes from Qtr to Qtr, which isn't just send a man behind the ball in the last 5 minutes of a Qtr.
Most footage of the coaches box this year seems to focus on Cox and Longmire - is Pyke not challenging Longmire/as actively involved as he used to be?
