It'll be nice IF Dew and Shaw come back to head the Academy. They are both good at developing young talent.
Stoked Mark McVeigh is on board. I've been hoping this would happen for a while.
Department changes now official on club's website. Only difference is Mark McVeigh is mentioned as Asstistant Coach rather than as Senior Assistant, as direct replacement for Don Pyke.
Possible that Dean Cox could be promoted into that senior role instead?
Heard whisper that Cox has rejected coaching overtures from WC, as he's seen as a candidate to succeed Longmire. Unsure of that validity.
From an outsider's perspective, these seem like marvellous appointments. Perhaps it's only Geelong (who we've clearly modelled our administration on) who does succession any better than the Swans.
Swans coaching staff met in Melb today and apparently Stuart Dew was present at the meeting….
GM posi is gone so Dew for assistant coach? Or a new posi?

Loose translation from the Latin is - I am tall, so I hit out.
Colin O'Riordan takes over McVeigh's role as Male Coach at the Academy, after his stint with AFLW
O'Riordan to guide QBE Swans Academy
