Towers to the ruck! Has cannon fodder written all over him.

I do hope Towers is the 2nd ruck and not Reid. He will be up against Pederson who is a 193cm and 99k size only.

I also note that 3 of the 6 top goal kickers for Melbourne will not be playing - Gartlett 29; Watts 20; Jones 10.

Playing will be Petrucca with 18; Hannan with 17 and T McDonald with 12 (of which 5 were last week)

How many games did we win when we decided to play Reid in the ruck? Oh that's right NONE! Not his fault he isn't a ruckman. If Longmire is going down that path again he's a bigger bloody fool than I thought he was. Taking Reid out of the forward line cuts down the forward options and makes us one dimensional in the air and Buddy rarely clunks them. I hope he does go with Towers in the ruck although I would rather see Sinkas in there.

Starting to worry about our coaches Ugg. @@@@ me Foote? Really? I know he tries hard but he is just not up to AFL standard. I like him for his guts and determination but when it came to him actually being able to deliver earlier in the season...Forget it.

I agree that he's not our best, and often at the bottom end of the best 22, but we're better with him than without.

Isn't he? I'm glad I saw this as I'd previously just been believing the coach when he said that McVeigh had "done everything in that game that we asked him to do".

Not the last 2 years. I cant remember a game that he did anything better then that Lloyd has been doing.
