It's going to take a large dose of Bloods Culture to win this one. I agree with Nico, Robbo must have photos.

I've already commented that I would have preferred Rose to Robbo for that final spot in the 22, but I can understand the reasons for the selection. Robbo is a strong aerobic athlete and we know he can run out the game and carry his fair share of minutes. This may have been the determining factor in his selection. I noticed in the Carlton Richmond game that Carlton started falling away from their defensive coverage in the 4th quarter which allowed Richmond to take greater control of the game (although they were still lucky to win).
It may come down to which side is more capable of running out the game. I hope our 3 1st gamers all perform well. I have a lot of confidence in them. I think they'll be a big part of our side for many years to come.
ugg, this is an astounding post. 3-4 debutants a rarity.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
Hewett spent a lot of time in the forward line in the latest NEAFL practice game, much more than his usual share. So I would expect him to play predominantly forward and perhaps get a 5-10 min spell in the midfield if a Kennedy Mitchell or Parker rests up forward.
Heard on the grapevine that an important in for Saturday night is now confirmed!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Interesting observation that probably supports Hewetts likely role tomorrow.
The game must change a bit given the reduction in rotations and that is where endurance players are at an increased advantage. It may be that fringe guys could be picked on their ability to run out a game strongly playing against a tiring opponent. Remember the very high rotation, particularly of midfielders, has been with us since the 2010 season so real endurance hasn't been a big priority since then.
What I won't miss is that annoying running off the ground as soon as a player kicks a goal. Never understood why that happened, when you're hot stay on the paddock!

Teasing us?
I am hoping that there must have something slowing Robbo down in the NAB because his form was terrible. It reminds me of the decision to play McGlynn in the finals last year. On form he should never have played and that was borne out in the final.
Does form count anymore?
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
