So our question re ruck cover is answered. Nankervis must have recovered from injury and so a rookie upgrade for Naismith not required.

For Hawthorn:

"Josh Gibson is a key inclusion for the Hawks and will help their defence combat the Swans' tall forward line. Saturday night's game will be Gibson's first since tearing his pectoral muscle against the Swans in round eight.

Alex Woodward has also been named to make his debut, following two consecutive seasons wiped away by dual knee reconstructions.

Bradley Hill (knee) also returns to the side, while Matt Spangher (ankle soreness), Ben Ross and Taylor Duryea all go out of the side."

Good call on Hanners and Shaw. No point playing 2 blokes coming back from weeks off against Hawthorn. Playing the fittest side they can.

I think Spangher out is a bit of blow for their defence with all of our talls, so hopefully we can exploit their defence

So the few people in Sydney that Gerard spoke with did not include anyone from the Swans. He's looking pretty silly now considering Horse had said he expected KT to play at least twice during the week.
