very solid, puts in every week and does what he is supposed to do.
Paul Roos for PM
7/10
Solid player in his role as the extra man down back for most of the year, managed to play every game for 2008 but consistency is still an issue.
In terms of the stats, it's his best year in disposals (avg. 15.0 in 2008 vs. 11.9 in 2007), marks (6.4 vs. 4.8), has a favourable free kick count but is down on tackles (1.3 vs. 1.8).
For most of the year, he's had a fair bit of the footy, can take marks in the backline and sets up the play when required. He's had some great games against West Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide, Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne but had some shockers against Collingwood, Hawthorn and Port Adelaide. Whenever he can't deliver down back, he should be considered as a main option up forward.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!!
7/10. One of the most underrated players in the competition. Solid contributor all year round, with some exceptional performances scattered around. One of the best marks going back with the flight in the competition.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!
