Profile: Another player to be thrown about as trade bait during the trading period and the Swans are hoping that this will be the spark that reignites his best form in 2008. Played mainly on the half forward line in 2007 because of niggling injuries, and he will be welcomed back into the midfield fold for the 2008 season. A hard in and under player when on song, Bolton loves to puts his body on the line in a contest. Despite not having a stellar season, finished 10th in the Best and Fairest and still has plenty to offer for the red and white cause.

Holds the Record for the most contested possessions in a game. 28 v Essendon, Round: 11 at S.C.G. 2010

Retired at the end of the 2013 season sitting second (325) on the all time games for the swans behind Goodes. A likeable and fiercely competitive player. He will be sorely missed.
