Profile: The Swans major recruit over the off season from the Adelaide Crows. Was down in form in 2007, and was dropped for the Eliminational Final against Hawthorn. Mattner could be well suited in teaming up with Tadhg Kennelly across half back at the SCG in 2008. Was one of the Crows best in a Qualifying Final win over the Fremantle Dockers in 2006 and the Swans were keen to secure a player who could run the lines. Only needs 2 more games to bring up his 100th AFL game of his career.
