AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou said premiership medals would be presented by a "former legend" of the successful team, with the candidates being named in grand final week

Looks like it'll be Skilton then! :)

It better be Bobby.

Would love to see he and Bazza holding the Cup aloft (after Roosy gets his turn of course). Would be perhaps the most symbolically significant image in the club's history.

I like Bobby Davis' quote in the story...

"I'm the only living premiership coach (for Geelong) and I hope I don't die the only living premiership coach,"

Sounds like he's intending to be a zombie!

On-topic, I think it's a good idea to have the medals presented by someone with a link to the winning club. And let's hope it's Mr Skilton.

I too hope Bob Skilton gets up there for our guys. He is a real gentleman and South Melbourne through and through.
