"I am definitely sick and tired of the AFL rolling over for the [NRL]. It happens too often," said one supporter on the Red and White Online fan website.

The Swans have played most of their games at the SCG and apparently consider Telstra Stadium a neutral ground....

Ahh... 'tis nice to see an ex-AAP journo getting a run at a major daily :)

At least she credited RWO, unlike some who think of themselves as journalists (YES YOU, TIM MORRISSEY!).

But have the Swans caved in?

There is no doubt that Telstra Stadium wanted both games this weekend and they were very confident the AFL were going to roll over and play on Saturday/night and thus deliver them a nice little earner with both.

I reckon the AFL has called Stadium Australia's bluff and it may have now sunk into Mr Edwards head that if he wants these games (which generate far more money for the stadium than League) they are going to have to be more accomodating in the future.

I love Telsdtra Stadium but I now have the irits with them. They either commit themselves to the Swans or we play all of our games at the SCG. This current so called arrangement is crap.

You wait till you see what he writes about basketball, the game he used to play and should love, right? (to those who don't know, he used to get booed at every Kings away match he played at)

What does Tim Morrissey know about footy anyway!!!!??? He oveheard us all talking on a flight back from Brisbane in 2003. GregB was slagging out Saddington all the way home. Surprise surprise you see Tim Morrissey write an article the next morning saying how poor Saddington was. And that we would not be missing anything with him out injured. :o

One might suspect that this weeks decision by the AFL to stick with Friday night and the SCG might just have called their bluff and force Stadium Australia to make that decision going forward.

This weeks inside footy magazine also had a quote from RWO by Swanette.
