Interesting by Adam Simpson today

"The feeling I thought that Sydney had in the last quarter was what we used to have in the 90s where you used to just step up and that's why they're a premiership team and they've got that feeling at the moment where they think they can win from any position and they proved that yesterday," said Simpson on Monday morning.
Simpson believed the loss, which he described as the Kangaroos' most disappointing of the year, was due more to Sydney's ability to lift and claw their way back from a 32-point third quarter deficit rather than his team dropping away.

"I don't know if it was us stopping but rather Sydney just picked up a gear and we couldn't match their guns, they really stood up," Simpson explained.

That's almost word for word the way Hall described the 2003 finals loss to the Lions. Eerie. I hope it works out for us the way it turned out for the Brions.
