I am amazed how many players over the years end up in hospital from an infected cut.

They supposedly have the best doctors around at these clubs. Haven't they heard of antiseptic that should be applied immediately a cut occurs. Particularly around dirt.

I was involved with junior footy for 10 years and was a football trainer and we were straight onto cuts and grazes, knowing the risk of infection.
