Umpires for Saturday night.

Let's hope Ray 'Short Man Syndrome' Chamberlain doesn't stitch us again.

Ray Chamberlain (18) (VIC), Matthew Head (16) (VIC), Craig Hendrie (24) (WA)

Chamberlain (1 game for 1 loss) What a bummer?
The other two have zip games with us.

Chamberlain in this current time is the worst umpire in the league...Yes, worse than McLaren.

Chamberpot had the Essendon game and the Geelong game (didn't Jude push Harley into his back?), so that's 2 games in the past 6 weeks at least.

He is soooo officious in his manner. His fung shei, or aura ,or whatever it is called, is seriously out of kilter. Some people have a sense of occasion but he has a knack of ruining occasions and making you shake your head. I don't just mean Swans games. His manner overrides the game itself.

What is that old saying??? "A good umpire is barely noticed." or something along those lines.

Maybe Spida should steal Chamberlain's whistle and dangle it high enough that he can't reach it. It may result in a hefty fine and suspension but it's first class entertainment.

That's 'cause he's a smart arse in real life. I hear he has a fair smattering of "up himself syndrome".
