Feel free to move this post to another forum as Im not sure what category it comes under...
Anybody know what's happening at the Boro?
As I kept in touch with Port M while we were involved with them, I guess I was on their mailing list still. Got an email the other day which was disturbing. Here is an excerpt from it:
" It has recently been disclosed that the Club has been providing false and misleading information to Government bodies / authorities such as the Victorian Casino & Gaming Authority and the Australian Securities & Investment Commission. The reason for the Club providing this false and misleading information is unknown. What is known, however, is that these actions could have a catastrophic result for the Borough. Not only is it likely that an offence / offences have been committed by doing so, it is
believed that these actions may put the Club's gaming licence at risk of loss or suspension. What this potentially means is that the Club could lose its licence to operate "The Rex" on a permanent or temporary basis."
My guess is that there is a boardroom battle going on. Any other info would be welcome...
