Each year the AFL puts out season highlights DVDs for the clubs, or the finals box set of 2005 for Sydney. Are there any games that Swans fans would especially want if they were available?

For me, a box set of Rounds 16-18 in 1987 when the Swans kicked 200+ points for the first two (WC,Ess) and then 198 vs the Tigers.
Or Sydney vs Fitzfroy 1995, Round 19 (Pluggers' 16 goal haul).
Or the 1982 Night Grand Final
Or any footage of the 1933 Grand Final

2 games i saw live from the memorable 96 season:

v Carlton @ Princes Park. Close to the best game of footy ive ever seen live. Massive build-up with the Blues being in red hot form, and the swans emerging as a force to be reckoned with. Paul Kelly Inspirational that day as we got up by 10 or 11 pts.

v North also @ Princes Park. Smashed them by 14 goals with Plugger booting a bag (10 i think). They were no match for us and were outplayed all over the park.

These two games showed the 96 swans at their best...
Pity the boys couldnt replicate these performances for the GF.

Agree on the Carlton game. One of the best games of footy I've ever seen - have watched it many times since.

Lockett kicked 9 in the second half of the North game. We could do no wrong after qtr time. Great day at the footy.

I'd love to re-live the 2003 QF against Port. Easily the best day I've ever had at the footy!

Too bloody right.

Plus - the game against Brisbane in rd7 that year, when they were undefeated coming off two flags and we got em. The start of the rise of the 03-06 reign.

- the last match Plugger played at the SCG in 99 (forget his comeback) against Adelaide. We smashed em and Kelly and Plugger were on fiire.

- the comeback in the wet in 99, as good as the Geelong 05 final

YouTube - 2003 QF - Port Adelaide vs. Sydney - The Great Upset (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqwMy7b9yrM)

pretty interesting to look at our structure and ball movement.....some usual suspects doing great stuff.....and Maxfield/Cressa....good times!!

I was at both of those games.

Watched the Carlton game from the Social Club behind the glass with 12 mates, we all flew down for the game. Carlton had won like 20 odd in a row at Princes Park and the faithful did it real tough as Sydney drew away at the end. We let them know all about it too :p . Craig O'Brien had a huge day as well, kicking 6 goals, but as JC said, Kelly was sensational.

Who remembers when he smothered the ball off Ron De Ilios boot, grabbed it and ran away to setup a goal. Possibly the bravest and best smother ever !!!

Yep, never forget that day, the Kelly and Kouta show...both unbelievably good but the 3 votes went to Fraser Brown...umpires

That was Rd3 2005. It was a tremendous fightback. Hall goaled after the siren after one of the Scott brothers gave away a free kick.

They scored first, and when the final siren went the scores were level. The only time we were in front was after the final siren.:D

I have copies of the Port Adelaide Final (2003) and the 1995 game against Essendon when we kicked our highest ever score, which was mentioned as being part of 3 weeks in a row where we scored 200+ points (ok, so one was only 198 !!!) I watch these games occasionally when I want to watch something other than the 2005 finals games

I think a box set should be produced of our close games vs Eagles, both the wins and losses as they are all great games

The 1996 Prelim against Essendon would also be a great game to have

The game where we scored 236(?) against the bombers, that would be in the option mentioned in the 200+ 1987 series.

The 1945 GF would be awesome.

My very first Swans game. It was 1979 versus Essendon at Artic Park. It was 5th against 8th and about 35,000 people there. Bombers won.

I went with friends from Melbourne who were Bombers supporters. Can't remember who played or anything else about the game. As a RL supporter I couldn't get over the size of the crowd even then.

It would be great to find out who I was actually watching on the day.

My next full game was about Rd 9 in 1996 at the SCG against Doggies.

I was at all these games and I still have that bloody song firmly burnt into my memory for all time...Show it to Sydney ...but I also have nice memories of watching the Swanettes dance after every goal - it is a sorta bittersweet thing.

Wouldn't that be something: two sides from outside the top 4 playing in a GF.

It would be a nice way to break our losing streak against the Pies as well.

Watching Sat night game again.
Buchanan was pretty good throughout.
Really think Richards is becoming a cool & classy defender.
Kirk Q3 was well fought but, dare I say it, disposal effectiveness is average. Inspirational however.
Thought Spida was crap on the night but not so bad in replay.
Goodes has great skills but is in danger of show-pony-ing at times.
Kangas were better than I thought in Q3. They still had a chance at 3/4 time.
Did Ablett play??

1997 Rnd 18 agst Cats at Skilled. Plugger kicked 9. I'd got the footy train with the girls and was in standing room (pig pen). Great day. All to the theme music of Deliverance.

I actually have got the Carlton 1996 game on video.

It was the game that converted me to the Swans! Initially I saw the Carlton game live in television. The next week I, along with 40,000 others, went to the SCG to see the Swans against the Cats, and that was it.

Most of mine have been mentioned already, but speaking of the Lions match, I'd definitely revisit Willo's 250th up at the Gabba (Round 7, 2003) when he scored the goal in the buzzer. Even though we were beating them at the time, that moment always sticks in my mind.
