Does anyone know what happened to Ryan Bottin-Noonan who was considered a good investment as a 14 year old in 2006?

The best player at 14 does not always turn out the best player at 18 or 19.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I have heard (from a trusted Campbelltown source) that he will be heading down to Victoria to play in the VFL next season. However, I am un-aware of what team he will be playing for. Also for those of you who have seen Ryan play, you may want to look out for his youngest brother Joel who is tearing up the under 14's competition out west.

Don't be sorry Grady, any news on old swans is always welcome, especially news on guys who we watched develop in the ressies but didn't quite get there thru different reasons.

Cheers

Botts has had a great year in the SFL, will probably take Campbelltowns B&F and as a centre half back in a team that struggled, he will probably poll well in the Phelan medal as well. Also got an early nom for the NAB Rising Star Award, and will go close there too ... wouldn't mind having him for the ressies right now!

Good luck to him if he has crack in the VFL - great kid, wonderful family, and yes, both the younger brothers can play too!
