wish he had of retired b4 that Essendon game a coupla years back, the only game that I have ever cried at and on Des's shoulder as well.

Yeesh! What a game. Leading for all but the last 10 seconds. Flukey bastard, that should have been our game. Ann, you jinxed PK when he was having a shot on goal!!!

It wasn't really a surprise. He was delisted then redrafted a year ago, so this was always likely to be his last season. But he will be missed - on his day he was a sensational player, and he was one of the nicest players going around and a great clubman.

The problem was, Norris, that his day always seemed to be against US!!

;) In all seriousness, I hope he hangs up the boots with pride... a premiership player and not all that far off 200 games. Well done to him.
