View Full Version : Which Swans biography / autobiography would you like to read?

There are a few Swans biographies (Laurie Nash, the Daniher brothers, Norm Smith has a South coaching chapter) and autobiographies (Roos, Kennelly, Lockett, Greg Williams... Capper). Any others that RWO's can think of?

Which Swans' would you like to see written next?

For me, the biography would be Bob Pratt.

Autobiography maybe Captain Kirk's "The Final Frontier" detailing the hardship of getting his career going to co-captaining a Premiership, or Skilts' "My One Day in September" about a magnificient career that yielded his single finals appearance. Barry Round's take on the move to Sydney might be a good read.

That one is way way off the mark.

He was arguably our most important player in September 2005 - certainly in terms of consistency of impact. The Swans' coaches certainly thought he was. In particular, if it wasn't for his first half against Geelong in the SF, Davis would have needed to kick more like 8 final quarter goals for us to get home.

Haha, I know. I rate Crouchy really highly, he was an absolute gun small defender in his time. I just wanted to work the fact that he played 194 games in a row and then struggled to get on the park after that, and the fact that he was very much a background player, not the sort that ever stood out with BOG performances, into a short, sharp title. I almost scrapped it, but figured I could explain it away (like I'm doing now) if anybody questioned it (like you did then). :)
