Swans on Youtube - 2011

I echo Nich's sentiment, and encourage as many swans fans as possible to get on youtube, create an account, subscribe to each other and post swans vids. The more the merrier I say. When someone types 'AFL' my hope is that one day a swans vid will pop up first. :)

Isn't it nice to be involved with a great team & a group of gentlemen rather than those idiots up the road that play NRL?

I had the misfortune of being involved with the Roosters at a homeless persons charity gig (which was sponsored by the Roosters) and was incredulous at the sheer cheek of these so called 'professionals'. They came in, manoeuvring around ALL the homeless people there to get straight to the BBQ, where upon they gorged themselves (1 guy taking SIX sandwiches for himself - classy touch F-wit when most of these people don't get to eat AND it was THEIR event not yours, AND you get paid and could have purchased something for your lunch AFTER they had something to eat) and got interviewed on TV.

On completion they then walked back around all the homeless (that were either now VERY upset that they had no food to eat or singing anti-Roosters songs (very funny)) and off to whence they came. Complete idiots, childish, self absorbed pillocks that don't deserve to get paid OR be on TV 'acting' as idols to some kids out there.

The lads (Swans) are AWESOME. I LOVE working for them. Respectful, hardworking, pleasant gents that give ANYONE the time of day. I just wonder how different that homeless event would have been if the Swans were hosting it?

How lazy, but important was the Everitt kick to Rohan.
It annoys me when the players lead or kick to the pocket. That was how to do it. Unfortunately Rohan didn't finish it off.

Oh, yeah, sweet. First (decent) footage I have seen this weekend.

Few observations - I saw McVeigh once or twice, only once doing something good (kick to Jetta who then followed up with THAT goal - Nice one Jetts, and I am happy for you to shoosh the crowd).
Mummy, Goodes, Everitt, Rohan, White - I know they weren't the only ones playing that last quarter, but it could have been a highlight reel for the 5 of them. The Sydney Chant, nice one. The reaction in the coaches box when Everitt takes the last mark (love to find out what that was about, or who it is in the back) and Everitt's grin as the siren goes during his line-up for goal - I grinned with ya mate!
Freddie, an insult to his memory to allow that image when I see the Q-man ... Chopper would have been a better choice ;)

Actually, to me that replay shows he clearly got it right, you can see as the the spin of the ball changes when it skims the post. Hard to see but there, best place to see it would be under the post where the umpire is. Good decision.

Edit: Hold up, it could be just the shadow on the ball which causes me to think it changes spin. Disregard my previous comments :) Umpire @@@@@@ up.

Without being too paranoid - it often seems that when the Swans are beating a team the next goal kicked against us will always get that Team back within reach. Down 70 odd points when they kicked it just before half-time. Comeback? Pleeeease? I suppose they have to try and keep people interested somehow when the score blows out like that.
