I'm curious as to the basis of the rejection of the term if the sticking point isn't the money.
Finnis does a good job of saying not very much on that.

Deal is done. The players wanted, and got, a contract review after 3 years instead of the 5 the AFL wanted.

Chris Judd aggressively questioned Demetriou about footballers' wages and so incensed was one Sydney player that he made it clear Demetriou was not welcome at the club to talk about the CBA.
