The new Guardian site has a column asking if the Sydney-based writer should support the Swans or the Tigers. Perhaps we should offer advice - as she says lots of Tigers fans have.

The comments for that article are among the most pathetic I have ever read. Crows fans - seriously, what more to say? Pathetic, insular, somehow entitled and suffer the grave delusion that they are 'above' Port fans or any other club for that matter. The article itself is a pathetic attempt to generate cheap discussion by playing to the masses. The most pathetic thing is reading as everyone is trying to suck-up to that nobody 'writer'.

...Ah, I feel better now. Can't stand media that plays to the sheeple.

I found the comments quite amusing. Except for "It bonds we Tigers fans together" - awfully annoying when one cannot distinguish between the nominative and accusative.

She could always follow my favourite women's sport - beach volleyball ;).
