Just a word of warning for those foxtel subscribers that signed up last year for the yearly package.
If you want to take out the same package $99.40 up front, you need to call 131 999 by 31 January to renew it, otherwise they will slug you with the monthly fee of $12.95.
I was assuming that they would just deduct the money from my credit card for the yearly amount, and as it hadn't happened yet I decided to call them. I asked if I need to remember every year to renew, and they said if I didn't call each year then you revert to the monthly plan.
Would have been nice of them to send a letter or reminder, but I suppose that there will be many sucked into thinking that the yearly fee will rollover.
