Not sure if it qualifies for this forum still, but the SMH reports that Andrew Dunkley is moving back to Gippsland this weekend as captain-coach of Leongatha FC. The correspondent obviously has no idea about Leongatha or Yarram (Dunkley's home town), nor how far apart they are, but it's worth a read anyway -

I'm going to be watching Dunks play as often as I can - it'll be a treat. I'll let you know how he goes.

His assistant coach, former AFL journeyman Paul Hudson, is already on board and working hard promoting the game around all the local schools. They'll make formidable 'bookends' for the club.

He will actually be playing against alot of my friends when his league met my local league - the mpnfl - in the interleague footy series.
Should be interesting to say the least.
